We are looking for an applicant to support our team in Berlin as a Student Assistant Service Desk & Data Analytics (Power BI / KI)
Do you want to understand how software operates in real-world customer environments, analyze problems, and actively contribute to improvements using data, tools, and AI? Then this is the right opportunity for you. In this role, you will work at the intersection of Service Desk operations, data analysis, software testing, and automation. You will help solve customer issues in a structured, data-driven way while contributing to the continuous improvement of software products and services.
Your responsibilities | diverse & exciting
- Service Desk & Support
- Review, categorize, and prioritize customer inquiries
- Analyze tickets, error patterns, and recurring issues
- Track and follow up on open support cases
- Maintain knowledge base articles, how-to guides, and internal documentation - Testing, Data & Analysis
- Perform and document software testing from the customer’s perspective
- Analyze errors, patterns, and system anomalies
- Contribute to Power BI reports and dashboards - AI & Automation
- Support AI-driven service processes
- Automate recurring tasks (e.g., creating prompts, templates, and structured analysis workflows)
- Contribute to workflow development and optimization (e.g., Jira / Confluence)
Good qualities | that you bring along
- Enrolled student (m/f/d), e.g., in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Transportation Systems Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
- Interest in IT systems, software, and data analysis
- Willingness to familiarize yourself with complex systems
- Initial experience with Jira, Confluence, Power BI, or SQL is an advantage
- Curiosity about AI tools and automation
- Very good German and English language skills
- Structured, reliable, and analytical way of working
- Enjoy understanding and solving (customer) problems
- Strong communication skills when collaborating with service, development, and project teams
