Senior Bid Manager (m/f/d) - Mobility & ÖPNV 

As a growing company in the mobility sector, we operate at the intersection of technology, data, and public infrastructure. Public tenders are a key lever for our market access and overall business success. In this role, you will take responsibility for our tender management in the mobility and public transport environment—offering clear ownership, significant impact, and ample room for shaping and initiative.

Your responsibilities | diverse & exciting

  • You take end-to-end responsibility for our tender management for public procurement procedures in the mobility and public transport sector
  • You identify and evaluate relevant tenders and decide on participation together with sales and management
  • You develop the bid strategy and manage the entire bid process through to successful submission
  • You ensure that all proposals are formally, substantively, and legally compliant with procurement regulations, and are clearly and convincingly structured
  • You coordinate all involved departments (sales, product management, development, customer operations) and bring their contributions together into a coherent overall proposal
  • You actively further develop our tender management—for example, by improving processes, standards, and reusable content
  • You analyze customer requirements and derive insights to inform product and market development
  • In addition, you contribute your expertise to proposal and customer projects (e.g., presentations, bid evaluations, or negotiations)

Good qualities | that you bring along

  • Several years of experience in bid management, technical sales, or product management (or in a comparable role)
  • Experience with public tenders (e.g., public transport, infrastructure, mobility) is a clear advantage
  • Technical understanding of software and/or hardware solutions
  • Structured, self-driven working style and enthusiasm for complex, cross-functional projects
  • Strong organizational and project management skills—you maintain an overview even under time pressure
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Very strong German language skills (at least C1), especially when working with complex tender documents, are required
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • A completed degree in a technical or techno-economic/business-related field is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
